Waterfalls and lily pond

Artists Karen Benedetti and Rosie Huart delivered art work today for an upcoming art exhibit at Gallery St. John at Mount St. John/Bergamo in Dayton, Ohio, titled Gallery Artists & Friends.

The grounds at Bergamo were very inviting as Karen and Rosie veered off the gallery path and found a secluded grotto made of imported stone from France.  The whisperings of nature, with its trickling of waterfalls, a lily pond, and the singing of cardinals stilled their minds for a few moments as they sat and enveloped the calm and serenity...maybe gathering inspiration for their next paintings.

The exhibition is a group show with paintings, pottery, mosaics, prints, reliefs, photography and collages and will be open Wednesdays through Sundays beginning Septemer 16, 2009, to October 11, 2009, from 12-4 PM.  An artists' reception is Sunday, October 11, 2009, from 1-4 PM.  It is free and open to the public.
